The Shooting of the Film ‘Jersey’ Begins




After getting success from Kabir Singh, Shahid Kapoor is all set to hit the screens with another amazing film titled as ‘Jersey’. Earlier the actor revealed that the shooting of the movie will start soon and, now finally he has updated the fans by sharing the film's clapboard on his social media. Although Shahid is not keeping well from the past few days, but due to the work commitments the actor has started shooting. 'Jersey', is the remake of the south film with the same title. The Hindi version will be directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, who also helmed the original movie.

The story of the film revolves around a failed cricketer who decides to play in his late thirties for India to fulfil his son's wish to get the Indian jersey as a gift. Despite of being in the mid-age how he will succeed in matching the required standards for the game is what everyone will get to see.

The Hindi version will feature Mrunal Thakur, and is being presented by Allu Aravind, and produced by Aman Gill and Dil Raju. The movie is slated to release on August 28, 2020
