Suraj Barjatya and son Avnish prepare for stories about friendship, nuclear family and destination weddings, Amitabh Bachchan, Boman Irani and Salman Khan to feature
Suraj Barjatya and his son Avnish are preparing for a movie where friendship, nuclear families and destination weddings will be core to the plot. The movies will feature Amitabh Bachchan, Boman Irani and Salman Khan in lead roles.
The projects might hit the works this month or earlier next month. A source close to the project mentioned, “The film rolls around September and not in February. There was a confusion within the industry, but Sooraj ji takes his own sweet time in pre-production and also believes in prolonged music seating. While the script and screenplay is locked, he takes the film on floors only by September. By then, even Amitabh Bachchan would have wrapped up his prior commitments.”

Talking about the cast, Big B has given his nod to the friendship project after the first narration. The movie talks about love and friendship, which is Mr. Barjatya’s forte. The friendship part will show the bond between two elderly people. The movie will hit the screens in 2022.
Salman Khan will be working with Barjatya for a movie about nuclear families. It will be a love story against the concept of nuclear families. The source close to the project added, “The first half of the story is locked, however, Sooraj ji is yet to crack the second half.
While he has a vision in mind of how things unfold in the second half, he will put it down on paper once the Amitabh Bachchan – Boman Irani film is out of his system. While no timelines are in place for the film, Salman will be doing at-least 3 films -Tiger 3, Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali and another film - before moving onto Sooraj Ji’s next.”
