Brahmastra, the film starring Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna is in the buzz ever since it got announced. Earlier it was confirmed that the movie will hit the theatres in summers 2020 but, now as per the reports, Karan Johar is planning to push the release date to Diwali 2020.
The reason behind this is, a lot of patchwork and VFX work are still left and thus, it will take more time to wrap up the entire shoot. The makers also revealed that there are a lot of complexities in the visual effects due to which it is not possible to release the film in summers.

Beginnings. Tel Aviv, Israel... Beginning of 2018, and the beginning of many things... We were in Tel Aviv to prepare for our first shooting schedule with a very special member of our team, and it marked the beginning of Ranbir and Alia working together for the movie and getting to know each other... Brahm?stra has come with a lot of travel, to find creative collaborations everywhere in the world... something I hope will add greatly to the film eventually ????????
Ayan Mukerji and Karan are fine with a little more delay as they are sure, that the audience will be blown away by the visuals once the trailer and teaser is unveiled.
Now, the official date of the release will only get announced after the makers will get the confirmation from the visual team and when the film will finally be ready to get delivered.
Also, Akshay Kumar’s Prithviraj and Kangana Ranaut’s Dhaakad are speculated to hit the theatres in Diwali 2020 so, let’s see what impact these films will have on the audience with the clashes.
