KV Anand passes away, Kamal Haasan, Rajnikanth, Mohanlal, Allu Arjun and others offer their condolences
Kollywood director K V Anand passed away in Chennai after suffering a heart attack. His loss was mourned by fans and colleagues from the industry including Rajnikanth, Mohanlal Allu Arjun, Kamal Haasan, and others.
Director A R Murugadoss also offered his condolences through social media. Rajnikanth wrote, "The demise of the venerable K V Anand is shocking and painful. My deepest condolences to his family. May his soul attain peace."
Kamal Haasan wrote, "KV Anand, who started his career as a photographer in magazines, has established himself as an outstanding cinematographer and director with his unwavering dedication. His demise is a disaster for cinema. My deepest condolences."
Allu Arjun wrote, "Just woke up to this sad news that For KV Anand Garu is no more. Wonderful cameraman, a brilliant director, and a very nice gentleman. Sir, you will always be remembered & missed. Condolences to the near, dear & family. Rest in Peace Sir. #KVAnand"
