Karan Johar is one of the most popular filmmakers who always comes up with unique projects and this time again; the director is back with another exciting film. Recently, Karan Johar has announced a thriller project which will be the untold story of the real-life Indian spymaster Rameshwar Nath Kao. The film will be an adaptation of Nitin Gokhale’s book - “R.N.Kao: Gentleman Spymaster”.

The film will revolve around the story of Kao who founded India's external intelligence agency R&AW. R.N.Kao had started his career in the Indian Imperial Service as Assistant Superintendent of Police. Later he was moved to the Intelligence Bureau (IB) on Independence Day. He had accomplished many assignments in the country and was asked by Indira Gandhi to start the Research & Analysis Wing (R&AW) in 1968.
It seems like this movie will be very interesting and exciting to watch. On the work front, Karan Johar is currently busy with the pre-production process of his most awaited movie, 'Takht'.
