After the Janta curfew on Sunday, looking into the escalating number of cases the government in various states decided to extend the curfew timings till Monday morning. However, the state authorities announced lockdown and a total of 75 districts including the capital, New Delhi were locked down.
The WHO and government advisories have laid down prevention guideline of social distancing and good hygiene to prevent the spread of the virus. People have been advised to self- isolate and go into quarantine at home. People are trying to not go out unless absolute necessary and Bollywood is doing the same.
Let’s admit it, quarantine time does get boring. Given that people have been staying at home, therefore house chores also need DIY. In the latest updates, film stars have uploaded pictures and videos on social detailing how they have relieved their house helps and are doing the work themselves.
Katrina Kaif uploaded a video showing how she found an easy way to wash utensils and captioned it saying, “really makes u appreciate all the help we have at home #socialdistancing #staysafe #helpoutathome”. She can be seen scrubbing the dishes while telling us her way of washing dishes ensures that water is not wasted.
Rajkumar Rao uploaded a story where he can be seen preparing for his lunch. He along with his friend and girlfriend Patralekha made the food. Rao was seen chopping the vegetables and captioned it in Hindi.
Many film stars have uploaded Instagram videos about workout at home. Jacqueline Fernandes shared a video doing ‘Surya Namaskar’ and urged fans to practice it for at least 20 minutes.

So far Corona has taught us to slow down a bit in life, revive our hobbies, spend time with family, maintain good hygiene and of course doing chores on your own. But wasn’t that how we started?
