There is no doubt in our minds about this year being the most difficult one for Janhvi Kapoor. she recently lost her mother, and the veteran actress, Sridevi who accidently drowned in a bath tub in February. However, everyone got impressed by her bravery and fighting spirit when she returned to work on her debut film Dhadak after a week.
Janhvi even spoke about how her year was at the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa. She also stated that no matter what happens, she would never be able to match her mother’s caliber nor did she intend to do so. Then, she continued reading a poem written by her for her mother Sridevi. Boney kapoor got emotional while hearing her daughter reciting the poem sitting by his side.

The young actress said, “It’s harder to say anything. When I say ’growth’, I mean personal growth, I don’t know about artistic. This year brought me both the worst and the best experience of my life. It’s a little strange. Our family is now united, so that is very big thing for me. But, whatever happened was too heavy. We are still in shock, so we haven’t been able to process it properly. I’m really thankful for all the love that we have received and I got a chance to work, which is a big thing for more. I got a chance to make my parents proud, which is important for me,” while talking about her year.
