Bappi Lahiri tests positive for covid-19 family ask for wishes of fans
Musician and singer Bappi Lahiri has tested positive for covid-19 and has been admitted to the hospital. He is Breach Candy Hospital and his family is asking for well wishes and blessings of fans.
The number of covid-19 cases in the country has risen at an unprecedented rate and many celebrities from the Hindi film industry have tested positive for the virus. The spokesperson issued a statement informing that the senior composer had taken all the precautions to protect himself from the virus but has still tested positive.
The family has requested everyone who came in contact with him to get tested and the statement urged everyone to stay healthy and take precautions at this time. They also sought everyone's blessings and asked to pray for the musician's speedy recovery.
The statement reads, "Despite utmost precautions, unfortunately, Mr Bappi Lahiri has tested positive Covid 19. He is under very good & expert care at Breach Candy Hospital. Bappi Dada's family requests All those who came in contact with him in the recent past should get themselves tested as a precautionary measure."

The statement further read as, "He seeks blessings & wishes of his fans, friends & everyone from India & abroad. On behalf of Bappi Da, we are passing his message to all his well-wishers and fans to stay healthy, stay blessed."
Apart from Bappi Lahiri celebrities like Kartik Aaryan, Tara Sutaria, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Vikrant Massey have also tested positive for the virus. To curb the rising cases the Government of Maharashtra has imposed night curfew and lockdown in certain areas.
