Going under the knife has become a trend in Bollywood in today’s date. But how many people do we see who actually admit to going for any form of surgery or alteration? TV actress Aashka Goradia Goble, however, is not one to shy away or feel apologetic about her choices.
Sadly, trolls online don’t leave anyone and they didn’t leave Aashka alone either. She was heavily trolled and criticized regarding her lip-job. In an interview with Mumbai Mirror, she accepted that she underwent a procedure and also defended her choice. She said, “My husband (Brent Goble) made me realize that there is nothing to hide. Yes, people will shame you but there is nothing to be ashamed of. I wanted to do something to my face, and that’s my choice. And I know that opening up sometimes is the only way to shut people up.”
She has worked in soaps like ’Kkusum’ and ’Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’. The actress had always been keen on having fuller lips and was using lip liners in the past. Therefore, she decided to undergo a procedure. Aashka added that she had always loved makeup, the human face, and what one could do with it. So with the help of technology, she had the choice to do it better and went for it.
She said, “I wish I had a sob story to tell you but there is none. I just wanted fuller lips and decided to go for them.” But being asked “how much plastic went into your lips?” in a press conference with 20 people present, was definitely not the way how she wanted to address the issue.
