If you thought that Avengers hangover was over, think again. The Marvel Cinematic Universe has decided to re-release Avengers Endgame with some added footage, 7 minutes to be precise. This would excite the MCU fans all over the world, who are still finding hard to move on after the Avengers Endgame marked the end of an era of MCU.
Endgame re-release: What’s the reason for it?
Avengers Endgame broke many records to its journey to being the second highest grosser in the world, just behind Avatar. Avengers Endgame, the biggest project of MCU, earned $2.7 billion worldwide, whereas Avatar stands at the Global box-office record of $2.8 billion. Despite Avengers Endgame success, the movie failed to break the all-time high record.
However, think tanks at MCU think that a re-release of Endgame would help them close in on the margin or eventually cross the Avatar records to be all-time highest grosser. The movie is slated for June 28th release, just days before another MCU movie hits the screen, Spider-Man: Far From Home.
What’s new in the Avengers Endgame Re-release?
The re-release of Avengers Endgame would feature an additional 7-minute clip that would feature at the end credits. The clip doesn’t alter the story, rather give insights, behind the scenes and a special tribute to fans, heroes and artists associated with MCU. A catharsis for the heartbroken MCU fans, the creators hope to give closure to the fans who felt devastated after the Avengers Endgame marked the end of three of its major characters.
It is worth watching if you are an MCU nerd, who likes to be up to date with every Marvel happening. Apart from that, the movie won’t feature much. It’s really up to you, whether you wish to be a part of MCU breaking an all-time record.
