To be precise he said, “Ms. Marvel, which is another character in the comic books, the Muslim hero who is inspired by Captain Marvel, is definitely sort of in the works. We have plans for that once we’ve introduced Captain Marvel to the world.” The character of Ms Marvel was introduced in the comic books in the year 2013. Kamla Khan has been shown as a Pakistani-American teenager living in New Jersey. She possesses the power of shape shifting and has healing powers. Kamala is a follower of Captain Marvel and hence she named herself as Ms Marvel on discovering her super powers Feige did not comment or provide much details about this character. He stated her movie will follow the release of Captain Marvel, starring Brie Larson. Captain Marvel has been set to release in 2019. G. Willow Wilson and Ian Herring brought this character to life. During the debut of the character, the creators talked about their inspiration and some other factors in an interview with The Time. They said, “It was really important for me to portray Kamala as someone who is struggling with her faith. It’s about the universal experience of all American teenagers, feeling kind of isolated and finding what they are through the lens of being a Muslim-American.”
This movie is definitely creating hype and will be well received by the fans of Marvel. Marvel has been releasing a bunch of movies lately and each and every show is going house-full. We are sure that this movie is going to have the same impact!
