Jennifer Aniston talks about her split with Justin and sexism

The 49 years old Friends star was recently interviewed by Molly McNearney, Jimmy Kimmel's wife, for the September issue of InStyle. Jennifer Aniston revealed that she wasn't heartbroken after her split with Justin Theroux. She also criticised the pressure on women to have children.

In the interview, she hinted that a medical issue may have kept her from having kids. She said, “It's pretty crazy. The misconceptions are "Jen can't keep a man," and "Jen refuses to have a baby because she's selfish and committed to her career." Or that I'm sad and heartbroken. First, with all due respect, I'm not heartbroken.”

“And second, those are reckless assumptions. No one knows what's going on behind closed doors.”, she said while referring to starting a family. The Emmy winner talked about women being unfairly treated in media.
“There is a pressure on women to be mothers, and if they are not, then they're deemed damaged goods. Maybe my purpose on this planet isn't to procreate. Maybe I have other things I'm supposed to do?” she added.

Talking about the pressure that comes with being in the spotlight, Aniston said that she does have breakdowns but they take place at home. “There are definitely moments of not being balanced and poised, but I do that all in my own personal space. For the most part, I can sit back and laugh at the ridiculous headlines because they have gotten more and more absurd,” said the star.
Jennifer is currently working on a TV series with Reese Witherspoon. She will also be seen in the movie 'Murder Mystery' with Adam Sandler and Luke Evans. The movie will be released in 2019.
