Realme 1 Review - Camera, Performance and Design

Realme is Oppo’s sub-brand and Real Me 1 is its first release in this context. Oppo says that this brand is designed considering the smartphone preferences of Indian youth.
The base model price of Realme 1 is Rs. 8,990. Showcasing 18:9 screen ratio, a fibreglass body with beautiful design, Realme 1 comes loaded with Android 8.1 Oreo.

Realme 1 Design
The Realme 1 has a fibreglass body with a gleaming cut resembling diamond projection means the light will reflect in 15 directions when touched to the back surface of Realme 1. One issue with the fibreglass material is that it catches fingerprints effortlessly.

The Realme 1 is exceptionally smaller and pocketable due to its 84.75 per cent screen-to-body proportion. The screen isn't borderless like most phones in the market yet it looks quite modern and elegant.Realme 1 Review - Camera, Performance and Design

Realme 1 has a facial recognition feature instead of the fingerprint sensor. It works well except in some cases of low lighting conditions. Network choices incorporate dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, 3.5mm earphone jack, and Bluetooth 4.2 with FM radio and GPS/A-GPS.

The Realme 1 comes in three variants, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of capacity priced at Rs. 8,990; one with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of capacity priced at Rs. 10,990; and one with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of capacity valued at Rs. 13,990. The Realme 1 storage can be expanded using a microSD card of up to 256GB.

Realme 1 Display quality

Realme 1 Battery life
The Realme 1 has a non-removable 3410mAh battery. The phone has Micro-USB port for charging and Battery life is noteworthy. In real life usage stats, the phone easily lasts for a day till midnight. No fast charging feature but it takes around 2.5 to 3 hours to fully charge the phone.

Realme 1 processor performance
The Realme 1 is powered with Octa-core MediaTek Helio P60 processor timed at 2.0GHz. MediaTek's flagship processor integrates a 12nm process and highlights NeuroPilot AI technology to deal with facial discovery.

The 6GB RAM model executed everything - from everyday essentials like taking pictures, browsing chrome, online utility applications, and watching Youtube to playing Subway Surfers and Asphalt 8 without any frame drops or stammers.

Realme 1 Camera quality
The back camera of Realme 1 is 13-megapixel AI-based scene recognition lens that adjusts as per angle to give the perfect shot. The pics are detailed but not very good in dull light moments.
The 8-megapixel front camera, also backed with artificial intelligence delivers sufficiently detailed and beautiful situations yet battles in low light.
