Motorola E5 Plus Review - Performance, Display and Camera

The Motorola E5 Plus is an entry segment phone by Lenovo in Moto series. The makers have tried to keep the phone as in sync with current trends as possible but does it still hold the ground? Let's check.

Moto E5 Plus Design
The Moto E5 Plus body is a thicker version of the Moto G6 Play. At 197g weight with measurements of 160.9 x 75.3 x 9.35mm, the Moto E5 Plus looks a bit cumbersome. Using the phone with one hand can pose a problem. The polished gloss on the plastic back resembles glass which makes it look more premium than what it feels in hands.

Moto E5 Plus Display Quality
6-inch HD+ (720x1440 pixels) IPS LCD display of Moto E5 Plus comes with 18:9 display angle. The screen isn't completely borderless.
Display angles and colours are pretty enough at this cost, however, the screen is reflective and a little dull. The content and pictures do not look sharp and you can detect pixels while perusing content.Motorola E5 Plus Review

Moto E5 Plus Processor Performance
The Moto E5 Plus is managed by Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor timed at 1.4 GHz. which is not that much considering the market offerings such as Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1.
The Moto E5 Plus is fit for taking care of essential everyday errands, like, watching YouTube videos, taking occasional pictures, light Web browsing, and Internet-based applications. However, due to a little slow processor, you would experience slacks, infrequent falters and lag. The best way to curb that is killing the unnecessary application when not using them. The Moto E5 Plus does not warm up when pushed.

Moto E5 Plus Connectivity Features
On the connectivity front, the Moto E5 Plus incorporates 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS/A-GPS, FM radio, a 3.5mm jack, and a Micro-USB port. However, it does not have dual 4G support.

Moto E5 Plus cameras performance
The back camera stands with a single 12-megapixel lens with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. The front holds 5-megapixel selfie camera with dedicated flash. The back camera represents issue such as range is poor and tends to overexpose shots. So don’t expect perfection in your clicks.

Moto E5 Plus battery life
THe 5000 mAh battery of the phone runs easily throughout the day in moderate to intensive use and you will mostly find good amount remaining unused at the end of the day. The battery is the primary feature of this phone.

Decision

The outstanding battery life of Moto E5 Plus is a plus point for Road warriors. The product is a near stock Android version and is useful for those who do not use much but needs a phone working in a budget segment with all basic and up to standard features.
