Bharat Box Office Collection Day 7: The Movie Enters The INR 150 Crore Club

Released on Eid, Box office collection of Bharat depicts an earning of INR 167 Crores after one week of its release, all set to cross the 200 Crore mark

Proving himself to be the undisputed king of the box office Salman Khan with his movie Bharat has made a comeback on the highest grossing list for 2019. Released on Eid, Bharat Box Office collection started with a whopping INR 42.30 Crores. After crossing the INR 150 Crore mark, the movie is all set to challenge URI: The Surgical Strike which sits on the top of the highest grosser of the year.

The movie released over 4700 screens throughout the country on Eid and as expected, the opening day was a hit. Over the weekend, the box office collection of Bharat was well over INR 100 Crore mark. The movie took a slight dip on Monday and Tuesday with box office collection record stating INR 9.20 Crores and INR 8 Crores respectively. The movie is expected to enter the INR 200 Crore Club mark in the coming weekend, making it the second highest grosser of the year. However, it will be challenged by the World Cup matched featuring India, which is expected to lower the Sunday collection. Till now, the box office collection for Bharat sits at INR 167 Crores on 12th June and only time will tell where the Bhaimania would stop.

Story of movie Bharat
Bharat featuring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif as leads also features Sunil Grover and Disha Patani. The movie tried to depict a parallel story of a man and a country growing together as they both adjust to evolving social and economic norms. The movie takes you back to Indo-Pak partition and starts the story of a young boy named Bharat who came to India from Pakistan alongside his family, excluding his father and younger sister. The movie takes you across the roller coaster ride of Bharat, the country and the man, as they both focus on rebuilding their backyard.


Bharat movie takes you on a joyful ride as the lead protagonist shows his heroic act in Maut Ka Kuan and then works in oil fields in Arab. Amidst all the progressions, the hero is spellbound by staff at the Employment Office, Kumud Raina, played by Katrina Kaif. The story further progresses to taking Bharat across infinite seas and foreign soil, before eventually taking you back to the horrors of partitions as citizens from both the countries try to find their lost loved ones.
