Currently riding high on the success of 'Veere Di Wedding', Swara Bhasker has temporarily deactivated her Twitter account. The actress claims to be on a 'digital detox'.
Her official Twitter page, @ReallySwara is inaccessible when searched for. In a recent text conversation with PTI, the actress said that she was currently holidaying in Europe and will be active on Twitter after returning. She said, “I deactivated it. Digital detox. (I) will be back when I return to India next week. I wasn’t able to enjoy my holiday and was all the time tracking what’s happening in India. I just felt I’m getting addicted to Twitter.”
Recently, the 30-year-old actress was trolled for one of her outfits which was compared to the famous Nirma girl, the popular icon of a washing powder brand. No sooner a meme went viral on the internet. But Swara took the joke sportingly and even shared it on her social media page.
Very observant I must say guys. @ministry_of_bollywood Reminded me of my childhood ambition! I always wanted to be the “washing powder Nirma child!” ???????????????????????????? @chandiniw @saracapela @hot.hair.balloon #Repost @movietalkies with @get_repost ??? LOL! According to a report, Swara had gone off the micro-blogging site due to such incessant trolling on her posts. However, she refuted these claims saying, “All other reasons being ascribed are mere speculation and gossip!”
Swara is still active on Facebook and Instagram and has been sharing pictures from her Europe trip on Instagram.
On the work front, Swara was last seen in 'Veere Di Wedding' alongside Kareena Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, and Shikha Talsania. Swara was seen in a bold avatar and had grabbed the attention of the audience with her terrific performance.
