Actor Aamir Khan is considering to take up a Hollywood remake as his next project after he's done with 'Thugs Of Hindostan'.
A source close to the actor told DNA, “He is interested in remaking a Hollywood movie, which was produced by Paramount Pictures. Aamir never spills the beans about his projects till all the details are chalked out. No wonder, he is keeping the name of this film under wraps. It will be revealed only when everything is finalized as talks are currently underway to acquire the rights.”
According to reports, Aamir might be playing Osho aka Bhagwaan Rajneesh in a film directed by Kapoor & Sons director Shakun Batra. However, the source told DNA, “Work on that has been currently paused. The team is reworking the script on Aamir’s advice. There are several parts of the storyline that he had not agreed upon.”
The Dangal actor is all set to be seen in 'Thugs Of Hindostan' directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya. The movie will be released on Diwali this year. The makers constructed two massive ships weighing over two lakh kilos for it. According to a report, “Since sea and ships play an integral part in the plot, Aamir as well as Aditya Chopra, the producer, were sure that they would go all out to present the biggest spectacle that Hindi cinema has ever witnessed. The film’s budgets are yet to be ascertained, but the cost for the two ships easily runs into several crores.”
“It took over a year to build these two ships off the coast of Malta (in Europe). Director Viktor (Vijay Krishna Acharya) wanted to go the whole hog in terms of scale and create a huge visual experience. Authenticity and aesthetics have both been kept in mind given the fact that it’s a period film,” an insider revealed.
