Recently, Alia Bhatt interacted with the media regarding the new collection of Caprese Bags. During the same interaction, she took the platform to dismiss rumors regarding any stress between her and Katrina Kaif.
According to reports, Katrina and Alia haven't been on sweet terms ever since Alia started dating Ranbir Kapoor, who was Katrina Kaif's former boyfriend. Reacting to these reports, Alia said, “I don’t check my Instagram likes. So, I don’t know why people are checking that? But I have to admit I have always been very fond of Katrina. I believe that it's the same both ways, according to us. So, I don’t know why other people feel differently? But now I will send her a message to start liking my pictures because if that’s the barometer of friendship then we must start liking everyone’s picture. Or maybe, I don’t have good pictures.” Alia added that from now on she will post good pictures and then maybe “She will like it. But with her, I have no stress whatsoever”.
The 'Student of the Year' actor is currently dating Ranbir Kapoor and there have been heavy speculations that the couple might tie the knot next year. When asked about the same, Alia told the reporters, “I don’t react to rumors. Rumors are not meant to be reacted upon. As long as you aren’t entering my bathroom, I am fine because if you are not talking about me then maybe I am not relevant enough. But honestly, I am in a very good place both personally and professionally so no issues whatsoever.”
Alia had been shooting for Ayan Mukerji's 'Brahmastra' with co-stars Ranbir and Amitabh Bachchan. The movie is written and directed by Ayan. Karan Johar is the producer of the same.
The 'Udta Punjab' star is all set to be seen in the historical magnum opus 'Takht'. When asked about the challenges of playing a historical character, Alia said, “Honestly, to take any kind of character is challenging whether it’s historical or contemporary or modern. I am just very happy and honored to be associated with such a big film... and to be directed by Karan (Johar) again.”
