Akshay Kumar shares his experience of working with Rajinikanth

On Friday, Akshay Kumar posted a #AskAkshay session on his Twitter handle. During the session, he talked about his upcoming film 'Gold' and shared his experience of working with Rajnikanth in '2.0'.

On being asked about the things he learned by working with Rajnikanth, Akshay answered, “It’s his peaceful work ethic.” When a Twitter user asked, “How was the experience of shooting with the great Rajinikanth sir?”, he said, “Oh like you couldn’t imagine, simply INCREDIBLE!”
He also talked about his upcoming film 'Gold' which is based on the Indian Hockey team’s historic win at 1948 Olympics. He said, “I would dedicate the film to all the hockey players who brought our nation together fighting for this GOLD to the point, we are still talking about it even today.”

Reema Katgi's 'Gold' also marks the debut of TV actress Mouni Roy in the Bollywood industry. She plays the role of Monobina, Akshay's Bengali wife. He also tweeted, “@Roymouni has showed me how Bengalis love to feed people all the time.”
In the interaction, Akshay was also asked about the best hockey player among the cast of Gold. In his usual witty manner, he replied, “That’s a tricky one but I’d have to say @kapoorkkunal or maybe @TheAmitSadh or @SunnyK0 :p”

Akshay also got emotional in the interaction as he recalled his favorite memory as an actor. He tweeted, “I will never forget when I was a newcomer and I brought my parents on set for the first time…to see their faces that day, it’s something I will never forget. Their little boy who didn’t go to college was now making movies.”
Also starring Amit Sadh and Kunal Kapoor, Gold is scheduled to release on August 15. Satyamev Jayate, starring John Abraham, will hit the screens on the same day.
